Dear Podficcer!

Hello! You are super duper wonderful and I am so excited that you are making me a thing! It's gonna be so great no matter what you do and I can't wait to hear it!! (Seriously ITPE is my favorite holiday) Below is lotsa information but don't let it overwhelm you! These are just many different things I like, I will love whatever you make me, promise!

Fandoms and my feelings

Star Wars Prequels: So a note about how I tend to fandom, I usually either consume enough canon to get a basic idea and then delve exclusively into fic, spoilers be damned, ...or I just skip the canon consumption and jump straight into fic. This is kinda what happened with Clone Wars for me, I've seen like 6 episodes? but have read a hell of a lot more fic. So I don't always know all the details of canon events but also I don't care about spoilers! So I love fic that:

focuses on or features heavily the clones, especially things that get at clone culture and the consequences of the Jedi creating a slave army
Fix-it fic, TIME TRAVEL FIX-IT FIC
Ahsoka! just anything Ahsoka she is wonderful (note: I haven't seen/read a lot in Rebels, Rebels era fic is fine but should probably focus on Ahsoka)
Fic that deals with the impacts of Anakin growing up in slavery
Padme/Anakin/Obi-wan, just Padme/Anakin, or Anakin/Obi-wan, and gen is always good for the soul as well
I'm also into clone pairings! Obi-wan/Cody and/or Rex, clones with each other!
I also really enjoy fics where Obi-wan is ace or ace-spectrum
The main thing I am not into is Qui-gon/Obi-wan, past unrequited feelings are ok but I'm just not that much of a fan of Qui-Gon in general

Star Wars: I am also still into all the other Star Warses so more Star Wars goodness that I love

General Leia is the best!!!!!
anything focusing on Finn/Poe/Rey in whatever combinations (including OT3 of course)
I also like Jess Pava! Fic involving her is rad!
anything dealing with stormtrooper rebellion/defection as a result of Finn (fine if canon characters are not the focus here)
Finn dealing with the trauma of surviving growing up in stormtrooper system
Really not interested in Kylo Ren/Ben Solo
Droids!!!! Droids are wonderful and I love things that contain/focus on BB-8, especially, but also R2D2 and K2-SO. I love things that look at sentience and what it means to be a droid/sentient
Mostly what I'm interested in as far as Rogue One is K2-SO himself and his relationship (platonic or romantic/sexual) with Cassian

DCU (aka the batfam): Remember what I said about not consuming canon? This is like 12x more true for DCU comics, I love it dearly but Everything I Learned About Canon I Learned From Fic

I have like ten metric tons of feelings about Jason Todd, so fics focusing on him are always 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
Jason and protecting/taking care of street kids kills me in the best way
I love Jason and his Very Firm ideas on proper consent
fics with Jason dealing with his trauma/PTSD are wonderful!
Pairings: Mostly into Jay/Tim and Steph/Cass otherwise gen is generally the way to go
(I'm sorry I walked into that pun and couldn't not, so uh also general across fandom like: terrible puns)
Jay/Dick is very hit or miss for me but if it's on my ao3 bookmarks go for it!
I also enjoy Jay/Roy and Jay/Roy/Kori and I could be up for some Tim/Kon
I have a great weakness for Talon!fic especially paired with some good hurt/comfort and learning to be a person

(the above are the fandoms I'm heavily in atm, hence the long explanations but all of the below also have my love!)

Daredevil: Matt/Foggy, trope-y get togethers, AUs, Matt having less self-worth than a potato, angst is a-ok but please leave me with a happy/hopeful ending

Leverage: Parker/Hardison/Eliot and gen fic are both super great, casefic, teamfic, and crossovers are lovely but basically anything goes

Hockey RPF: I love Sid/Geno and general Penguins, please no Patrick Kane as a character, references are fine. Women's hockey peeps are also great, I especially love genderswap/fics that deal with the challenges of women in the NHL

SGA: John/Rodney, also anything dealing with Atlantis culture ie the meshing of the expedition and Pegasus cultures in the form of traditions/languages/behaviors, especially interactions between Atlanteans and SGC folks or other outsiders. Teamfic is always great

The Martian: Mark Watney being snarky, teamfic, hurt/comfort or recovery fic from either the journey back or on Earth. I'm mostly into gen here, but pairings are fine except Mark/Beck

Ghostbusters 2016: fav pairing is Patty/Holtz but basically anything that isn't endgame Holtzbert is fair game, gen team fic is also great

Flash: Cisco is my fav so Cisco-centric things are A+, also Barry/Cisco and Barry/Cisco/Iris

Warehouse 13: Claudia Donovan is the best and I love her so much, I haven't read much fic here but if you know of some good things that focus on Claudia I am so down!

Fast and the Furious: Brian/Dom, team/family fic, also I love fics with girl!Brian. I've only seen up to the 6th movie, fics before then preferred or at least I would need introduction to characters introduced in later movies

AUs are my jam, both totally alternate universes and canon divergence/universe alternations
Crossovers (so long as one of the fandoms above is involved and I don't need too much outside canon knowledge we're good! Fusions that focus on characters from above canons are also good)

poly relationships
Stories about asexual and ace spectrum characters make my heart sing <33
I love music/sound effects in podfic, if that's not your thing no worries but if it is feel free to go for it!

DNW:

PWPs, I don’t mind explicit parts in fic but sexy times are not the most interesting thing to me, but as long as there is lots of plotty/feelsy goodness around the porn we’re good.
